The Colombian Folkloric Ballet presents: Mixteco Ballet Folklorico – 20th Anniversary Fiesta Folklorica. Come, celebrate the magic of Mexico’s folklore and the elegance of Spanish flamenco. Feel the Latin rhythms of Colombia and Cuba, as we pay homage to Mexican cinema of the 40′s. Saturday, June 16, at the Hobby Center, 7 pm

Fiesta Folklorica, presented by the renowned Mixteco Ballet Folklorico, celebrates 20 years of dance. Take a tour of Mexico and beyond as some of Houston’s most talented performers take the stage. Witness some of Mexico’s most beautiful traditions through dance and music.

Mixteco will present some of the most popular regions and indigenous dances south of the border. Fiesta Folklorica will also include other Latin American countries such as Cuba and Colombia as well as the beautiful art form know as flamenco from Spain.

Guest performers will include Lucia and Valdemar, the Colombian Folkloric Ballet, and mariachi Los Gallitos.
